What is a needle roller bearing?
Needle roller bearings use long, thin cylindrical rollers (needles) whose length is several times their diameter. Because many needles share the load, these bearings carry high radial loads while keeping a very small cross-section, so a designer can use a larger, stiffer shaft inside the same housing bore.
Common designs include drawn cup needle roller bearings that are pressed directly into a housing, machined-ring needle bearings with or without an inner ring, and needle roller and cage assemblies that run directly on a hardened shaft. Versions with seals or combined thrust components are used for special cases.
CPN needle roller bearings are made to German standards under ISO-controlled factory quality control. Send us the designation from your existing bearing, or its bore, outside diameter and width, and we will check the right replacement for you.
